researched for weeks online and in stores for a steam mop, as most of my house is wood or tile. I could not be happier with my purchase. Here are the reasons why i finally chose the Euroflex Monster:
1) It was actually designed to be used on hardwood floors – this was important to me b/c I didn’t want to ruin the floors in our house
2) It has 2 different steam levels, which makes it safer and more effective at cleaning tile and hardwood. i could not find any other steam mop w/ 2 different steam levels.
3) it has a good sized water chamber. i can mop the whole house on one filling if i don’t press the trigger too much to get extra steam to come out the front.
4) steam jets on the bottom AND front. i don’t remember seeing this in any other brand.
5) it heats up hotter than most steam mops – to 240 degrees F. Other steam mops don’t get as hot so to actually sanitize you are supposed to hold the mop in one spot for 15 seconds, which would make mopping a house an all day event.
6) it also has an attachment for steam cleaning carpets – i have not tried this yet, but liked the feature.
7) the bonus pads where a great bonus.
It has been great at cleaning well and quickly. It really does wipe away grime… even grime that’s been there for a while. The pads are machine washable and come out clean every time. Be sure to use distilled water so that you don’t get any build up in the chamber (that goes for all steam mops). My only complaint is that if you do have to refill the water chamber mid-cleaning session, you have to wait to 5 mins unscrew the cap (b/c of steam escaping when you unscrew the cap)and then another 5 mins for the mop to heat up after you put more water in the chamber

I also did tons of research on this steam mop and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The only thing I will point out is that it is a bit on the heavy side, so if you are a frail person this may not be the right mop for you. It does do an awesome job on the floors and the 4 steam levels make it great for my laminate and the tile. The more steam that you use though the more wet the floors get so start on the lowest level of steam for a floor that dries in seconds. Very easy to use and I feel like it is a well made and sturdy product that is going to last me a long time.

I did some research about steam mops before I bought this one (which is unusual, I’m an impulse shopper!). It lived up to the reviews. It is a bit heavy so someone who is elderly may have trouble. I love the extra steam option. I do use it on my cheaper laminate floors that are in the house I just moved into and haven’t had any trouble, I just use a lower temperature. I did notice that the first few times I used it on the stick tile I had streaks, but after the third or fourth use they were gone – I think this may have come from whatever the previous owner used to clean them.
The pads are easy to clean. I’m very satisfied with the purchase.

The product does what is supposed to do. Wre are very happy we purchased EZ-1 over other product. There isvery little assembly, however it is tricky and need close attention to attahced steam valve line properly.

My friends have the shark and one has the regular steam mop.I got the monster and they all want to borrow it.I would have never beleived it would work this great,but it does.It also gets easier after each cleaning.It removes stubborn stains and gets my tile super clean and shiny!

Our EZ1 was delivered in timely manner and was well packaged. The assembly of the handle did not go well, the insert end was buggered-up (it would not engage so that the trigger mechanism for the front steam would work)- had to call the 800 number – they sent out a new handle – came quickly (tried to sell me a portable vacuum) – found that you had to kind of jiggle the engagement prior to turning the handle into position, then gently try to pull the handle back out, if engaged properly the handle will not come out (remember to be gentle). By capacity quoted, the boiler should take about 2.5 cups (must use the pourer provided), it took a little less. The mop is very easy to use and very well thought out – pulling back the handle turns on the bottom steam, pulling the trigger turns on the front steam (once you get the handle to engage properly – it’s a poorly designed engagement). The mop does do a beautiful job and we are very happy with it. The customer service was very responsive, but I do not think they are good at describing how to correct a problem – on the first call, the woman told me how to engage the handle, which was not adequate and was not helpful, on the second call is when they sent out a new handle (I could have very easily damaged the 2nd one but luckily didn’t (it is very easy to damage because of the engagement mechanics).

I did some major price comparison & product comparison before buying this product. I saw this mop used at a home show & fell in love with the idea of a steam mop! I shopped around, read reviews, etc. and the Monster EZ1 Steam Mop cannot be beat. I love that it has 6 steam holes on the bottom (I’ve heard the Shark has 1 hole?!) and the power boost on the front! I can do my whole downstairs in about 10 minutes and not have to fill up the water holder. It has 4 steam levels and I can really tell a difference between each level. I cannot put into words the difference between our “clean” floors before and our floors now after using the steam mop. What a difference!!! Even my husband commented on how the floors now feel beneath his bare feet. We have two children (ages 2 & 4) and 2 dogs. This mop takes care of all our sticky messes! We use this on our laminate wood floors, hardwood floors and tile. We have no carpet in the house, so I cannot comment on the rug-glider.

The Monster is exactly what it says it is. I’ve only used it once since I bought it, but it worked as expected. This steamer is great, I am impressed. I wanted a steamer that would work on hard flooring, aswell as carpet, this is the one that I picked and it works great. It effortlessly glides over hard floors and carpet taking out any marks, stains, set in spills, etc, on the lowest settings. Also when you use this steamer on carpets it rejuvinates and plumps up the fabrics.
I bought this steamer from Amazon and the seller included 2 extra pads, so I got a total of 5. Also this steamer came with a hand held steamer that I have not yet tried out, but it looks to have many purposes.
So I rate this steamer a 5, I know there are probably much better ones on the market, but not in this price range! Also the fact that this steamer does hard floors and carpets is a big plus for me. I have seen other steamers that only do carpet, or hard floors, not both and they run for the same or more price, and I have seen them in action and I was not impressed. This steamer puts out max steam, at max temps. With numerous temperature settings, and a button to release a blast of steam, this machine is a great choice. I am happy to have this steamer, I have back problems and pain and this steamer is light weight, easy to use, and you do not have to put as much effort into getting out spots as you do with other methods.

I love this product! Very well made, as mentioned in the product user guide, it is a commercial made product. Easy to use, my floors are beautiful and they really are CLEAN with the steam temperture being 219 – 239 degrees, well over boiling temperture, so you know the floors are being sanitized. So very easy to wash the velcro pads in the washer and line dry.
I highly recommend this to everyone that is looking for a new way to clean your floors. The old mop (bacteria carrying) days are over for me.
