The mop is a little hard to push at first until the pad gets wet. The handle on top of the tank helps with that. Once I got used to using it I think It does a great job. I am glad I got 6 pads with it. It is amazing how filthy they get–so that must mean it is cleaning!!

Steams away dirt and germs and makes floors look like new. Follow the directions and you will not have excess water on your floors and if you turn the carpet attachment over you can set the steamboy on it as a resting stand for a few minutes without having to worry about discoloring your floor. Makes the house smell better and all in all I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a clean germ free floor. Being a retired man looking for stuff to do this really just cut my to do time to about a third when I do the floors for my wife but this is one chore I don’t mind having my time cut on. Great product.

I don’t have to worry about my cat and cleaning products with this steam cleaner and the floors get much cleaner! Just as an aside-I had bad case of bronchitis and the Dr. recomended inhaling steam in the bathroom. I thought that was a waste of hot water so I steam cleaned my bathroom floor at least four times a day and breathed easier and got a cleaner floor!

Calling all Ladies. My spouse is currently unemployed. I had to think of something fun to get him to clean. This is it!! He cleaned all the floors and carpets and is still doing this weekly!! I was entranced by the h2o mop on TV. After reading the reviews on that and this product, I bought this one. For him it is an electric gadget to play with. For me it is a green way to clean floors and rugs.It is also a way to get my spouse to clean. I have used the mop also. I love it too!! It has gotten cat urine stains and smells out of the rug. You have to go over the area a few times, but it does come out. I do recommend buying more mop heads.They can get dirty fast. I have huge kitchen floor and 12 mop heads keeps it going. Mop heads can be washed, but it saves time to have more available. I love my steam mop. You will too.

This mop is amazing, no questions asked. It produces steam in 20 seconds (I can’t understand the review that said it took 45 mintues to build up) and cleaned my floor well. My 4 month old gets baby cereal on the floor that turns to a virtual cement, and the steamboy removed it in one swipe! It leaves me floor almost dry, too (there is a learning curve, though). Super cool: it removed a coffee stain from my carpet that was probably a year old. This is worth every penny invested!! Buy this mop!

I like this product except for the fact that sometimes it is hard to get the cloth covers to stay on tightly. But, I do love the fact that my floors and sanitized are come out looking great. The terry cloth covers wash easily and a little bleach and into the washer gets them good as new. I wish the steam could be converted into a hand held appliance, instead of having to buy another appliance. It does a great job of removing light dirt from carpet. I wish it had an on/off switch.

Our Steamboy came in good condition & as promised. My wife had made it home 30 minutes before me when it arrived, and when I walked in the door, she had already assembled it, and had completed half of our all down stairs Tile. It was making a tremendous buzzing sound, & I told her something was not right. No heat or steam was coming out. After resnapping in the water canister, water began to flow, it heated up the pad in seconds, and steam appeared. She ended up redoing the entire floor again, this time with steam. It losens up the crud in the grout so as to make it easier to clean the grout shortly thereafter, and leaves the tile shiny & clean.

Mine was o.k., but quit after about a year, so I consider it an unreliable product.
